| Rate Determination Guide
Pest pressure and spray coverage requirements are the critical components in determining
the best application rate for COAX. The highest labeled COAX rate per acre is 96
ounces (6 pints) per application and the lowest recommended rate per acre is 4 ounces
per application. (For use within California...Ground Applications: 1-2 pints of
COAX per 10 gallons of spray solution, Aerial Applications: 1-2 pints of COAX per
5 gallons of spray solution.)
Use a 1% COAX solution in applications when pest pressure is heavy or at times when
the spray coverage has the potential to be less than optimum...
Gallons of spray solution/acre x 128 oz./gal. x 0.01 = ounces of COAX/acre
Use a 1/2% COAX solution in applications when pest pressure is moderate to low or
when the spray coverage is expected to be ideal...
Gallons of spray solution/acre x 128 oz./gal. x 0.005 = ounces of COAX/acre
